Enough to eat

OK, well, first things first I should show you around my apartment. Its a ground floor flat and as you enter you walk into a foyer where there is a random bathroom sink to the right with a mirror above. To the left of the foyer and down the stairs is the dining room and living room which is modestly decorated, though comfortably. At the far end of the living room I have another entrance and through these double doors and across the road an old man sits with light colored skin behind iron railings watching the world and his life go by.
I have over one hundred channels of shit on the TV to choose from. I have electric lights though I don't have wild staring eyes, at least not today. Back to the foyer and by the random sink are two doors, one to the left and one to the right. The door to the left enters the kitchen. The kitchen is a kitchen- it has two sinks, a fridge and a strange water purification unit stuck to the wall with three long tubes and numerous pipes extending in and out of the wall. Pleasant music can be heard when you fill your glass, though apparently the musical chimes have no relation to the purification process. I don't care if dancing clowns appear from the surrounding cupboards each time its used, there is no way I am going to trust drinking water from this contraption. I'll stick to bottled water.
I should try and maintain your interest, don't worry, if your expecting tales of incredible India they're coming-I'm just drawing you in slowly.
There's not much to say about my bedroom, nor the other spare bedroom which has an entrance from the living room. It has a hard double bed, so a home from home, an AC unit and a hatch which opens onto the kitchen. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot water though I have not worked out how to get it yet. I have a ceiling fan too. In fact there are ceiling fans scattered all over the flat and when I come in at night I turn them all on and watch any loose paper get blown around the apartment. Shri Guru Nanak Dev JI watches over me while I sleep. He looks like a friendly fellow so I am happy with this.

Naturally I am a creature of habit though this will change and I will explain how, but that's a new post.
